Interested in emerging edtech, or new ways of integrating digital technology in your school or classroom? Looking for ideas and inspiration? There are a number of education focussed technology conferences happening in Australia throughout 2016 that are worth checking out.

While Principals, Deputies, Directors or Heads of year, ICT, library or department will no doubt benefit from attending one or more of these conferences, they can be expensive… Keep in mind that many of these conferences have free expos, providing a more affordable way for teachers (or aspiring educators) and ICT coordinators to get ‘hands on’ with developers and suppliers who are showcasing their latest wares and innovations. Often these expos can be just as valuable as attending regular conference talks or masterclasses, and provide a great opportunity for vendors to share practical information and advice with education leaders.

If you want to learn more about shaping a modern learning environment in your classroom, or using edtech to make a difference to your students, here are our top 5 conferences that are worth a look in 2016.
